I'm so glad that I found this company to help me clean up a terrible mess made by rodents in my crawlspace! My insulation was torn up and hanging in shreds with rat droppings and dead rats too. The smell was awful and they had even chewed into the furnace ducting and one died there. The other (well known) companies in my area offered to do the usual removal and installation; but said I would need to hire exterminators to seal any openings where the rats had gotten in - and hire HVAC people for the ducting breach - and hire a carpenter/handy man to build a rat proof access door. I was feeling pretty discouraged and overwhelmed.

A realtor friend gave me the name of Near Me Insulation located about an hour south of here in Burlington, WA. Sergio was up here immediately to evaluate the situation & work up a bid. He was very thorough and professional and worked out the numbers right there in front of me. He reassured me that their company, which he and his brothers owned and operated, would take care of ALL aspects of this job that were needed - they are licensed contractors that do more than just insulation. They removed the stinking mess, placed a new vapor barrier, carefully inspected for rat access areas and sealed them up with wire mesh, foam, concrete etc. There was a huge pile of rats under the furnace where it was warm & cozy and they spent a lot of time to clean that out and build exclude future rats with a 1/4" wire mesh, etc. They sprayed/misted sanitizer under the house and set traps to make sure there were no more resident vermin inside before continuing. Ducting was badly contaminated and I decided to replace all of it - they even came all the way up here on Sunday, their only day off, to install the new ductwork with no overtime charges. Sergio insisted that he wanted me to be comfortable and that his crew would understand. They were all so pleasant - no grumbles.

I decided to upgrade my attic insulation also and some walls that are exposed to the harsh NE winds up here in the Lynden area on the Canadian border. The house is 30 years old and the codes were different then. The paperwork for a Cascade Natural Gas rebate was was completed and submitted for me - all I had to do was supply my account number and sign.

What a relief to get all of this taken care of with a high degree of professionalism, knowledge and skill! They worked quickly, cheerfully and efficiently - so polite and respectful. They really want to leave their customers totally satisfied with the work and will go out of their way to do so. Everything is clean and cozy now.

I needed to get in touch with spray foam insulation contractors because my basement needed additional insulation. Luckily, I contacted this company and they did a really excellent job. I'd definitely recommend them if you need quality insulation work.
